Happy & Content :)

That's exactly what I am - happy and content. Clayton is absolutely amazing and I have never been happier. I know that's mushy and gross, but it is what it is. I am looking forward to 2013 and all that it will throw at me. I am super excited for my best friends wedding, my niece or nephew to arrive, a summer full of opportunities, softball season, and a school year wherever I wind up! This winter break has been pretty phenomenal! :) the friday before christmas daniele came over and we spent all day baking cookies. I had a blast hanging out with her, she's such a cool kid! then it's mostly been spending as much time as possible with Clayton. Christmas Eve & Christmas were amazing. Christmas Eve we went to Aunt Gina's (Clayton's Aunts) and the whole family came over. We had the feast of the 7 fishes, Tarantino style (only delicious fish, nothing gross) and then sang the 12 days of christmas, where every couple had a day and had to make a hand gesture and sing their part. Then we did the gift exchange. It was fun to sit back and watch everybody open their presents and laugh. :) Clayton's cousin Kristina pulled me and she got me this bag full of "date night" stuff. Popcorn, a blanket, stuff like that. And a picture frame with a pic of me and him in it. :) We came back to my house and crashed, got up Christmas morning and did presents with mom & dad and Nat & Joe. It was fun, and loud and crazy! Ate breakfast, cleaned up, got ready, then Aunt Laurie, Uncle Dave and Daniele came over. Hung out with them, waited for Pap & Nancy then did Christmas with them. Everyone got Clayton and Joe presents, which we were TOTALLY NOT anticipating, but was a really nice gesture. Clayton got me Browns v Steelers tickets to the game in Pittsburgh which was a TOTAL surprise, and that was awesome! We went up Saturday, stopped and saw Aunt Donna and Uncle John and had dinner with them, then went to Dana's and hung out with her and the kids for awhile. Then we had a hotel just outside of Pittsburgh so we went, checked in, and crashed. Sunday we got up, and Clayton decided he didn't want a continental breakfast so he googled "Good food pittsburgh" and found this little diner called "Eats n'at" so we went there. It was SO good! Seriously, the best food I've had, maybe ever. Then we went to Pittsburgh and to Heinz Field. Apparently their parking is astronomical so we parked across the river and rode their ferry across to the game. It was SOOOO cold, but I toughed it out and we made it until about 4 minutes left in the game, but watched the rest on the TV's throughout the stadium as we were walking. Took the ferry back, stopped and grabbed some coffee and used their restrooms, then hit the road to head home. An amazing weekend for sure! :) Came back to aunt gina's to find some family friends over and a game night in progress. Played balderdash with everyone, which was a lot of fun, then Clayton and I left and came back to my house. New Years Eve we slept in late, ran a couple errands then he went to get his haircut and I started getting ready. We went to LaVera Party Center for NYE and it's a fancy thing so we got all dressed up. It was a fun night with a lot of his family. New Years Day his cousins Marie & Paul had everyone to their house for "hangover ham" so we went there, ate, and hung out for the day. Got home, watched some TV, then went to bed. Today started working out with Erin, we went to Hannah's spin class at Fitworks. I guess everyone is going up to Local Tavern tonight, and Hannah's step-brother James is in town so I'm gonna meet up with all of them to say hey, at least for a lil while. :)

Happy new Year! Here's to a GREAT 2013!
