School...can be very boring...

I'm taking classes towards my masters degree.  Right now, the classes are being offered on-line, although it's real-time webstreaming with interactive chat, so not one of those that can be done anytime that I want.  Which, really, is for the best, otherwise I'd have a week left in the semester and still have all (most probably, literally, all) the rest of the semester to get done in one week.  Did that sentence even make sense?

Anyway, thanks to the joy of multiple open browsers, I can ignore the professor to my heart's content.  It's not that it's boring, but he doesn't pay any attention to the chat part so our questions go right on by.  So do our answers to his questions because he's just not paying attention.  Really bright guy--not so good with the technology.

After today, only three more class meetings, then a take home final...then only two classes to complete my degree!  Woohoo!

then what?

There's no Ph.D program in my field of study.  Don't want to, don't think that I can do, a chemistry or biology Ph.D.  That would take way too much out of me; just not up for that.  Had a hard enough time with the BA in biology.  I'll probably continue with some post-degree classes, but I don't think that my company will pay for those like they do now (90% anyway--very good deal; of course, I'm now their slave for a year or I'll owe them for the past year's worth of reimbursements.  Makes sense, really).

{checking in...yup, he's still on the same slide...and there he goes missing the first person who answered the question correctly and remarking on the third person.  It's very frustrating; why bother?  Just "ring in" late.}

I think that I'll make another run of my favorite SGA sites to see if there's anything new.  Already gobbled up the new chapters from Skein so I'll have to wait (in)patiently for the next one (even though she teased us and mentioned that she had many more chapters done and ready to go (want to read them now --shakes fist petulently--).
