What did you recently finish reading?
Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer
Honestly, I quite liked this one. Gave me all the nostalgic feels!
Antiracist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi
I liked it, but I think it could have used some workshopping.to clarify ultimate goals/audience.
The Venetian and the Rum Runner by L.A. Witt
This author can be quite hit or miss for me but this one was a hit! Loved the historical aspects and just overall enjoyed reading it.
The Trees by Conrad Richter
Finally read this final book in the Awakening Land Trilogy, aka the Pultizer prize winner and reason I read the first two books. Interesting concept, though my favorite was by far the first book in the trilogy.

After Felix (Close Proximity #3) by Lily Morton
I love this author and this series has been great so far, but I've been dragging my feet a bit with this book as the theme isn't my favorite. Hopefully I'll still enjoy!
Afterlife by Julia Alvarez
This author has long been a favorite and this is her first new book in a loooong time, so I'm looking forward to reading!
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling
Meeting on this one in about two weeks, so I'll probably start it this week to give myself plenty of time to savour.
