Oh my goodness there aren't even words for how amazing this is. I have such a student/teacher kink and this is probably one of the most powerful fics I've read in any fandom with this trope. It was funny and sweet and so heart-wrenching in some parts I was tearing up. The characters are so well written and believable and the chemistry between Arthur and Eames just sizzles. The sex at the end was also crazy freaking hot.

Okay, so, this series is straight up brilliant. Now, you may not think that nearly 300k or mostly established relationship Arthur/Eames HGTV AU is really necessary, but you would be completely wrong. I love me some home improvement shows, but I don't usually get that invested in the hosts, so I was a little skeptical of this one, but it was wonderfully executed. Arthur and Eames are perfectly characterized here, and Arthur as a real estate agent and Eames as a designer is just amazing. The chemistry and interaction between these two are beyond fabulous, and the whole thing is just SUCH a joy to read. Seriously, I had the biggest smile on my face throughout, and I was laughing out loud almost every other chapter (which is saying a lot). Okay, so, this series is straight up brilliant. Now, you may not think that nearly 300k or mostly established relationship Arthur/Eames HGTV AU is really necessary, but you would be completely wrong. I love me some home improvement shows, but I don't usually get that invested in the hosts, so I was a little skeptical of this one, but it was wonderfully executed. Arthur and Eames are perfectly characterized here, and Arthur as a real estate agent and Eames as a designer is just amazing. The chemistry and interaction between these two are beyond fabulous, and the whole thing is just SUCH a joy to read. Seriously, I had the biggest smile on my face throughout, and I was laughing out loud almost every other chapter (which is saying a lot).
