Wonderful fic with Thorin having been "obvious" about is feelings throughout the journey, and Bilbo not realizing how serious his intentions are until after the battle. I enjoyed Bilbo's voice here quite a lot and the ending was lovely. There is also an equally long sequel from Thorin's POV that I haven't read yet, but I'm sure it's great!

Beautiful fic that manages to blend book and movie canon together wonderfully. This fic ends before the dwarves leave Laketown, so there is a slight bittersweet aspect, because what happens from there is left open-ended. I like to think that the Durins all live ahppily ever after, and the beautiful connection between Thorin and Bilbo in this fic continues on.

This was a truly fantastic series. It is well-written and engaging, with great characterizations and appearances by the entire company (plus Dís)! I loved all of the different courting rituals and the relationship between Bilbo and Thorin was perfectly paced and believably developed. No sex in the main fic, but there are several smutty sequels that more than make up for it! :)

Bilbo is taken into Erebor as prisoner and Thorin is going to learn that many things can still be stolen.
This fic is just so freaking good. Intricate and interesting with really wonderful characterizations. Definitely a bit heartbreaking and gut-wrenching in places, but with a beautiful ending that makes all the pain worth it! Wonderful read.

OMG, this fic is just AMAZING. It's everything you could ever want from a post BotFA fix-it fic and so much more! I know it's long, but honestly, the words just flew by and I actually found myself trying to drag it out because I didn't want it to end. The characters here are fantastically rendered, and Bilbo and Thorin are particularly magnificent. We get both of their POVs and it was such a treat to get inside their heads. The romance develops so beautifully and organically, and I loved the way the fake/pretend relationship trope was toyed around with here--it can be so easy to get mired down in misunderstandings, particularly with these characters, and I thought the author's take felt fresh and authentic. The plot was also suitably interesting and intriguing and moved things along wonderfully. Basically I enjoyed the hell out of this fic and I cannot recommend highly enough.

JFC this fic, there are no words. The entire concept is fascinating and brilliantly executed. The characterizations are spot on, the connection between Bilbo and Thorin is fabulous, and the whole fic is just captivating. It's definitely an emotional roller-coaster, but the ride and the ending, is so, so worth it. Cannot recommend this fic enough! There is a sequel that just started and is a WIP, but the original fic definitely stands on its own. :D

This is such a lovely and relatively fluffy fic. I really enjoyed their inability to properly communicate at first. I don't think I've read any fics where they don't speak a common language, so it was fun to see how their relationship might progress with that barrier!

I really enjoyed the characterizations here and the build of feelings, and the whole thing was a really lovely, enjoyable read!

This was beautiful and song an interesting concept with the mixing of the hobbit and dwarf mates.

I like to think that the Durins all live ahppily ever after, and the beautiful connection between Thorin and Bilbo in this fic continues on.

No sex in the main fic, but there are several smutty sequels that more than make up for it! :)

This fic is just so freaking good. Intricate and interesting with really wonderful characterizations. Definitely a bit heartbreaking and gut-wrenching in places, but with a beautiful ending that makes all the pain worth it! Wonderful read.

OMG, this fic is just AMAZING. It's everything you could ever want from a post BotFA fix-it fic and so much more! I know it's long, but honestly, the words just flew by and I actually found myself trying to drag it out because I didn't want it to end. The characters here are fantastically rendered, and Bilbo and Thorin are particularly magnificent. We get both of their POVs and it was such a treat to get inside their heads. The romance develops so beautifully and organically, and I loved the way the fake/pretend relationship trope was toyed around with here--it can be so easy to get mired down in misunderstandings, particularly with these characters, and I thought the author's take felt fresh and authentic. The plot was also suitably interesting and intriguing and moved things along wonderfully. Basically I enjoyed the hell out of this fic and I cannot recommend highly enough.

JFC this fic, there are no words. The entire concept is fascinating and brilliantly executed. The characterizations are spot on, the connection between Bilbo and Thorin is fabulous, and the whole fic is just captivating. It's definitely an emotional roller-coaster, but the ride and the ending, is so, so worth it. Cannot recommend this fic enough! There is a sequel that just started and is a WIP, but the original fic definitely stands on its own. :D

This is such a lovely and relatively fluffy fic. I really enjoyed their inability to properly communicate at first. I don't think I've read any fics where they don't speak a common language, so it was fun to see how their relationship might progress with that barrier!

Thorin and Bilbo were both characterized beautifully and Dís was an unexpectedly lovely addition.

Fascinating AU where the dragon died during his initial attack, and Thorin and company were able to stay in Erebor. It was really interesting seeing this side of Thorin, and the traits that might have flourished if he'd remained in his home as a prince, secure in his position. I really enjoyed the characterizations here and the build of feelings, and the whole thing was a really lovely, enjoyable read!
