Feel like I fell off the planet

I enjoyed catching up on all the news, ladies. Sorry I haven't written in a while. Just life in the way of living, I guess, but it doesn't look like it's ever really going to slow down, so I'll jot down what I can for now.

Jeff had a close encounter with the ground this past weekend. A kid pushed him off the playground equipment and he lost his memory for a short time. Kept asking what happened to him, and lost a blip or two from the day before and an hour or two afterward. Scary! We haven't seen any further sign of damage and he's ok now, so we praise God it wasn't worse.

We finally made it to Leviticus and are studying the tabernacle and so forth now. It's so cool to dig in and discover that everything in the Old Testament points to Jesus, and to see God's grace even in the middle of His strictest laws. Jeff finished his tests; he's off for the summer now. Jeremy and Heather still have a few more before they're done. Gotta make sure Heather is solid on her math. I can't believe she's going into the 7th grade!

We're planning to go camping this weekend with some friends of ours. Seriously, I haven't been camping in YEARS and I'm a little apprehensive about the whole bug - tent - woods thing. Girl Scouts pretty much cured me of the tent thing, but looks like I'll be roughing it. Canoe trip involved too. I told Brett I want to hook a floatie up to the back of one of the canoes. Just drag me along behind him so I don't have to paddle - ha! Am I a spoiled brat or what?

Looking forward to our trip to CO, coming up the following weekend. You girls going to be there or are you skipping off to Charlotte, Han? When will you be back? Don't make us miss you altogether!

Grace to Mama C with all your transitions. Peace out!
