The past week or so
So Mount Sinai isn't really on the Sinai Peninsula. Go figure.
We survived VBS - even enjoyed it but wow, what a workout! 4 classes back-to-back, 20 minutes each, and I was singing and doing the motions to the songs pretty much nonstop...felt like aerobics! Glad it was just for a week!
Been seeing the sites around town; found some cool little spots I didn't know were there before, like a scenic drive along the edge of a steep hillside, a cute little town near here with little shops and restaurants and stuff. Found a little carnival near the river to take the kids to this weekend; they'll do fireworks on the 4th too. Had a picnic in the park today, brought Heather's best friend along, who spent last night and will spend the night tonight too. Her family isn't moving right away, after all, so Heather's glad about that.
Baby's heartbeat sounded like a galloping horse today - 15 1/2 weeks; still can't feel movement but tummy is GROWING. Having an ultrasound July 19th. Considering Maria Noelle for a girl's name; haven't contemplated anything for a boy. Maybe Jamie??? Ha! Knitting a lavender blankie. Looking for a VAN! Maybe a school bus???
