Twenty-four hours until
the holiday weekend begins! What are my plans? Boating with family and taking my new rug hooking frame (the portable Puritan!!!), working in the Lasanga garden and visiting with my daughter. I don't think I mentioned she moved to Chicago a month ago and so I had to hire a new secretary. First off, let me just say, distance makes the heart grow fonder and this move has been good for us all. My new secretary is somewhat of a battle axe yet strangely enough...I kind of like it...she is seriously a no nonsense kind of gal with 19 years of legal experience and she has been whipping my office into shape this week which of course is a huge burden off my shoulders.
