Whether or not this is a good idea or not...I have found out that my lap top can access internet at work via the Bear Creek restaurant across the street. WHOOO HOO!
Today I spent the majority of the day working on a powerpoint for SJLC's worship tommorow. It's kept me busy but the day has dragged like no other. It's tough coming back from a week like AFFIRM where you just don't stop going and then sitting here all day doing nothing. We've had a total of two customers.
I didn't bring much music if any at all to practice because I figured I wouldn't have time given the powerpoint forgetting the fact I might actually want a break. Oh well, mom came and took me to lunch. I think it's also an exceedingly long day because I have a date with Stephen tonight and I'm eager to enjoy him before he disappears for the month.
I'm thinking about going and buying a cross-stitch to do, because that will keep my hands and my mind busy. I suck at them, but, I'll just take this last week before summer school starts to get better at them. Yay! Here comes a customer, up no, up he left something in his car and he's coming in hte door WHOOO HOOO! Haven't you always wanted a play by play of my work? He wants a four hand arrangement of "Stars and Stripes Forever" look like Sarah's going to have to order that one. I have such a hard time nailing down the males as potential piano players. I know it's sexist but some of them, I'm just really surprised at.
No such luck in the catalog. He's sitting down at the Shigeru right now though. Let's see what kind of player he really is...lol, gosh this is bad and obviously, I'm hard for entertainment. It's something light and easy, almost jazzy, but more cool. I think he's making it up...which speaks highly of his improv skills. Jazz definately now...yeah I guess I could see him as a jazzist...(note the word, I think I made it up) It's fun to try and peg people before they walk in the door. Most often, I'm surprised. Guess I need to work a few more years in the biz. lol He's even checking out the specs, and Harrison goes in for the kill. It's ok buddy, I really doubt you can afford that one. Why don't you try a GE or an RX. Kids' definately into ragtime and jazz. Which is close, cuz I never would've suspected him as a classicist.
Yeah, so now that I've bored you significantly, I'm going to end this entry. But thanks for going along with my entertainment.
