My grown up Christmas list

I think this is the title of an Amy Grant song, and no doubt what I will write will be less wholly satisfying for humanity, but I can't honestly think of a better title for my selfish little list.

If I could wish for anything for Christmas...

1. Someone to wake up with on Christmas morning. And a lot of other mornings in between.
2. Traditions... and relaxation... and a little bit of my childhood to carry over into my new Christmas life. Like cinnamon rolls.
3. A home to call my own...
4. A love story
5. Patience and serenity...
6. A grown up life to mix with my childish one.
7. To stop and breathe and live in the moment
8. Someone to talk with... at all hours of the night, about important things, silly things, dreams, truths... the kinds of things that come out honestly when the facade fades away.
9. A porch swing
10. My last first kiss
11. Me time.
12. More miles
13. A lot more time outdoors
14. A warm cup of coffee and a quiet afternoon
15. Cuddling, in bulk amounts
16. Security, stability, and feeling afloat.
17. A bakery
18. More chances
19. Understanding
20. A backyard, and a dog.

On that note, I think I shall go to bed :)
