Packing and Traveling
Packing Day 2 and Day 3 went smoothly. The movers finished packing everything up. They tagged and inventories all the boxes and then packed it up on the truck. It was all said and done by noon on Day 4. The rain that started on Thursday and Friday morning hadn't helped greatly but they were real troopers! The mud was everything; well, more that the yard was a mess with tire prints.
Yesterday and this morning we finished packing and cleaning. Bea was a super huge help! She helped me clean Friday night and then we watched movies. Then this morning she helped with packing and cleaning more! Octopedes did his share too~
The house is so big when it is empty. Octopedes just did not know what to do with himself.
We set out around 2 o'clock this afternoon. It was bright and sunny. Here is Octopedes soaking in some rays.
I am not really sure when we crossed the border into Tennessee. It might have been at the Rest stop we were in but I was too occupied keeping my cat calm to be able to look in the visitor center.
This is in Tennessee somewhere. There wasn't a marker for me to tell where I was at the time but the clouds were really pretty. Octopedes is a cloud gazer~
While driving around the Kingston, TN area. I just thought it was kind of pretty. And a good snapshot for taking it whilst driving!
And now we have eaten and Octopedes has decided that it is time for bed. We are currently now in Harriman,TN and resting well.
