this is one of those things i'm so mad i missed in the moment; it was just recced on spn_themes i think, and i'm so thankful! i cannot say enough about the way deaconfic chose to characterize these guys; complex, fascinating, and with such subtle backgrounds and motivations. it was so rewarding to see the progression of their relationship and what they were able to give each other.
