[The trap door to the bunnies shows that it's had a large kitchen appliance drug over top of it, heavier than can be moved by just one person and yet he's still eye'ing around. There's not just 'normal people' around here that he has to worry about though.
He's satisfied that the bunnies (and the other little traps he has down in his root cellar with his most important non-flesh items are), will keep his belongings safe without him there. Right now it was time to go check on other things that he had left out there. So foolishly left out there where they could be taken and placed in someone elses' care. Someone else would own them before him and he'd have to steal it. He preferred not to steal, preferred instead to just own it outright to begin with.
Without so much as a word he marches past his PCD, the door slamming hard. ....Then opening and the PCD is in his hand. He's on the go, quietly of course.
After a while of picking up things that look interesting and leaving things he didn't much feel like taking or thought have no worth for him to use he passes over by the lake, staring out at a giant tentacle.]

[The PCD cuts out and Greed, paranoid of losing out on trinkets, is left staring contemplatively through his dark glasses at the wavy ripples left in the middle of the lake caused by the giant squid's descent.]
