What happened to this Journal entry- looks like the spell check version

Verbally got the results of the MRI.  The doctor said I have degenerative arthritis, and that caused the pinched nerve.  She said I should see a neurologist, and seek physical therapy if I am not recuperating from the pinched nerve.  I booked an appointment for Friday with a neurologist, but there are no physical therapists within 25 miles for my health plan, so I'll wait until I talk to the neurologist. Actually, the arthritis diagnosis was not a surprise.  I must have heard it before, perhaps when I got an MRI of my kidney.  Still, this does not explain why it pinched a nerve, or what will make it better, and when.  My most pressing concern now that dance season has started is, will I be able to dance? Did I mention that my brother is a doctor? An orthopedic surgeon.  I called him to ask what to expect, and to discuss dancing with him.  He wants to see the MRI, and I will try to get the MRI on computer disk before we visit him on Thanksgiving.  He said that pinched nerves heal without surgery 80% of the time, but it takes up to 6 weeks.  He said first the pain reduces, then the muscle weakness reduces, and last the numbness fades.  He says that dancing at walking speed will not hurt me, provided I can keep my balance.  I think I'm at the stage where the pain is gradually reducing, though sleeping is still very uncomfortable. After talking to my brother, and demystifying the situation, I'm no longer scared.  I can slowly begin to resume normal activities.  I am going to try to dance at Clark's C-Gulls this weekend. Yesterday, I worked mostly on the lanai.  I transplanted the peppers and the eggplants into individual cells in peat strips.  Now I have 4 trays of peppers (128), and 3 trays of eggplants (96).  These will be their growing pots until they are planted in January or February. Have not been eager to replant the crops in the C4 garden, nor plant the ground cover in the P orchard.  When I seed or transplant, seedlings are promptly eaten by insects.  Since this happens over and over again (like 5 times for the broccoli-cauliflower-kale row), it would almost meet the definition of insanity to plant again without changing something.  We hope that killing the weeds in the area will help reduce the insect population.  I think that I may as well wait until the weeds are under control before trying again.
