Oh, glorious weekend, how Lauren loved thee!! She made sure to sleep in that Saturday, considering how school had just started and she could already tell that her body was going to rage against her for the lack of rest she'd been doing. It had only been a week, hadn't it? Still... there was so much to be done in that one week!
Like socializing. Catching up with everyone she hadn't seen over the summer. Making out with boys(though she hadn't quite met her weekly quota yet). Meeting all the new firsties. It was all quite exciting, to be sure, but it did start to drain a person after awhile!!
So today she figured she'd take a break. The sleeping in was the first part. The second part was her curling up in a little nook, sitting on a windowsill while taking turns with looking out on the beautiful grounds and writing a letter home to her mum. The woman had demanded that she send her one within the first day or two, but Lauren had forgotten until just now. Oops!
