Location: Diagon Alley
Open To: Any. :O
Currently Involving: Elisabeth
Warnings: None?
For years of her life, Elisabeth hadn't had to lift a finger to do the slightest bit of work if she didn't want to. That was what hired help was for, of course, among other things. And oh, it wasn't like she was unappreciative, oh no. Unlike many people in her position, she didn't try to take advantage of the help she had -- after all, they took care of her most of the time, since her father was away on business so often. She didn't mind that either -- it made her appreciative of the periods of time that he was home, each time showering her and her sisters with gifts.
It was during school that she realized that life could be much harsher than she was used to, people weren't in the same position that she was, and that there were people who thought she was her money and nothing more. For a while, she thought that too, but then she quickly became determined to prove them wrong.
She got a job.
Oh, she liked it fine enough, but she liked her breaks even more, even if they were spent wandering aimlessly around Diagon Alley. Which is what she was doing right now. Of course, her walk was a little different from most, since she couldn't keep out her dancer's nature -- her feet turned out, her shoulders slumped, hips tucked in and her head stayed forward and high. It was habit, really, and made her stick out a bit.
She didn't mind, of course, and didn't notice either. Digging into her bag, she moved along, not in much of a hurry to find some lunch.
