Natalie was trying this new thing. This new thing was called getting out.
Of course, she was still Natalie, so getting out didn't mean going out clubbing or drinking or anything like that, of course not. But the night before, she'd decided that keeping herself cooped up in her apartment whenever she wasn't at work (or out with Jason) was just unhealthy.
And yes, she'd decided that all on her own! It was a good development, probably.
So this had been her second night in a row to come home, relax for a little while, and then put on some exercise clothes and go out for a jog. Sure it didn't seem like much, but for Natalie, it honestly really was.
She was back home now, though, and more tired than she had been thanks to that running bit. She kicked off her running shoes and made her way into the kitchen, pulling open the fridge to pour herself a glass of water.
