For two years now, I've been racing my sailboat Legacy (a C&C 30) in an effort to learn about sailing quickly, make friends, and also to learn about sailing quickly. It's been a really interesting time, and for most of the last few years, it's been enough stress and annoyance that I wondered why I do it.
