Dear True Blood, I Have But One Wish

I realize that tonight's episode is probably going to be a hard one. And it will most likely end with everyone's life hanging in the balance. Bonus points if Sookie is screaming her head off. Not to mention the two week wait that will be inflicted upon us until the finale. Damn rotten no good Labour Day weekend!

At the end of the third book, Eric is driving Sookie home from Jackson, and she's been through a lot, and the tension increases in the car until they end up in an absolute throw down. As they pull up to her house, in the middle of the fight, Eric demands, "And why the hell don't you get your driveway fixed?" This causes Sookie to see red, and start yelling about how she doesn't have the money because she keeps taking time off work to get dragged into vampire bullshit.

I love the whole two chapters on multiple levels, which I won't even get into. And I know we won't get anything close to the scene itself. But, you can guess what Sookie wakes up to the next morning.

This season Sookie's beloved home is an everloving mess. At the beginning of the season, Alan Ball did mention the house would be attended to eventually. So far Sookie hasn't had the time to do anything about it, because of said vampire bullshit. And I can only assume that after tonight, Eric will owe her one.

Please, please, please, let Eric be the one to pay for the house. That's all I want.

And if he doesn't, please, please don't let it be Bill. I fear the interwebs might collapse under the pressure of the resulting explosion.

In the meantime, I offer this awesome gif of awesome kissing that I found and can't stop staring at, to sooth any frayed nerves. I have a feeling I will be obsessing over it even more in the next two weeks.

Also, anyone who has ANY interest in Eric/Sookie what-so-ever needs to see THIS VID! Seriously, peeps! Run, don't walk. It is gorgeous, and beautiful, and a bit tragic, and just really, really lovely.
