fangirls/fanboys are crazy (but awesome)
The people behind the Stargate franchises are getting rid of props and stuff from the series SG1 and SGA and will do so for several months. It's sad, because it looks very bad for the movie they were supposed to do. As David Hewlett said in his twitter, we should all buy the stuff and do our own movie! (He also said he thought about buying the Iratus bug for Joe, or well taking pictures of it around the globe and send those pics to Joe. awww.). Anyway... to manage to extort as much money from fandom as they can, they are auctionning the props off eBay.
I've been following it for a couple of days and OMG. Sheppard's wrist band (points to icon) reached 800$ REALLY fast. now it's topped by Daniel Jackson's glasses, but still. JESUS. Fetish much? LOL! I can't even imagine how much the actual Stargate will eventually sell for.
