So I'm in Mission Viejo, California right now, staying with my cousins. This morning as I slept in their guest room, I felt and heard a big rumbling for about 2 seconds. The first thing I thought was that it was my dad being a pain in the ass and shaking the bed to wake me up or something. But my dad wasn't in the room. Turns out it was an earthquake.

It was pretty exciting. My cousins said the earthquakes are once-in-a-blue-moon here, so I'm lucky I was here for one because I'm really excited that I can now tell everyone that I've experienced an earthquake.

Later I went to the beach with my cousins and body surfed on the massive waves, duuude. I kept wondering how it is that swimmers (like me) don't get rammed by surfers, but I figured it out after a lifeguard came to tell me I was on the wrong side of the beach.

Last thing... today an article I wrote came out in the Travel section of the Miami Herald, so if you're subscribed and haven't recycled Sunday's paper, check it out. It's on student travel. I haven't seen it yet.

Ok ok, ONE more thing. Has anyone noticed how MySpace has been down for a day or two? Well it's because they're based in Los Angeles and there was a power outage. And yesterday while I was eating at a Thai Vegetarian Cafe in Los Angeles, the power went out there and at every place nearby. I'm so in tune with the happenings of the world!

Wow, I just noticed my LiveJournal has a Google PageRank of 3! That's pretty awesome. Although most of you probably have no idea what the hell I'm talking about.
