It's comforting to walk into a hotel and see a sign that reads "WARNING: This facility contains one or more chemicals known by the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm." I'm in Los Angeles, at the world-renown Comfort Inn. The room smells like carcinogens and I can feel my organs deteriorating. But hey, that's part of the L.A. experience, in the most polluted city in the country.
