This morning I sang with the worship team. I was worried I might have to cancel because of this sore throat I'm trying to fend off. It went so well. The set was marvelous; when I first saw it I thought, "oh great I hope I don't cry in the middle of one of these songs!"

The mix was beautifully balanced (it isn't always, depending on our sound guy for the week); I could hear everyone in the monitors and therefore did not have to guess at harmony and wonder if I was stepping on anyone's toes. The congregation was involved and at times I couldn't even look at them for fear I would break down, too.
Such a sweet, sweet time of congregational worship. I am convinced there are few things on earth as sweet. My heart aches for heaven.
