Journal of Alexander/Xandros Week 20, 1/13/04 Tuesday afternoon
So far things here have been strange but ok. For now I have my own room in the dorms, but with the second bed, desk and closet, I'm betting that that won't last too long. I guess I should enjoy the privacy and quiet while it lasts.
The students here are odd, to say the least. There's all sorts of things, people, breeds or whatever the hell the term is here then Doc ever mentioned. Though supposedly I'm going to learn all about them in one of the classes here, which I start tomorrow. Got a tour of the campus. It's a nice place, if you like living in a postcard. The old science building looks kind-of interesting, but they said it's off limits, all the really interesting stuff always is.
I spent most of the day in the offices getting my class schedule and stuff. I'm going to be over a half a year behind in the two special courses I'm taking. Wonderful, this means that in addition to the usual shit, I'll have to take these two more classes, and make up for half a years work in each, so it'll be like having four more classes. Why the hell did I agree to come here? I should have just stayed at that festering hold of a school at home, it would have at least been easier.
