Two things: Midori's new faceup and new light.
I decided to be brave today and removed Midori's faceup. *!!!* I attended a Shuui's Face-up Tutorial the other day and decided to try it out on my own today. XD I did everything with colour pencils and pastels... I don't really dare to touch acrylics. Yet. Not after the last time -_- The eyebrows were slightly easier than I thought -- in pencil, of course. And thanks to a new brush I got, I actually managed to draw reeeaally fine lines I've never ever managed to draw before. o_o The secret is in the brush! But of course, the fact remains that I need a lot, a LOT of practice. XD
Maybe I'll be brave again tomorrow and try to redo it with acrylic... =__= Oh, and give her eyelashes again. XD
That aside, she isn't really... Midori anymore, yet I think she still really is. o_O|| I haven't really decided if this is the look I want for her. Actually, I've wanted to change her faceup when I knew I was getting her but just never had the guts. XD And when she came, I was actually quite taken with the lovely Volks faceup, I just kept delaying it.
As for the photo, I took it just now -- at night. XD With a cheapo Ikea lamp, my trusty D70s and a lot of Photoshop. XD I tried to take a photo with my A95, usng custom white balance, which really is a neat feature, but the photo turned out quite horrid. I'm really not using my A95 much these days (in fact, I'm trying to use less of it too...), so maybe I've really lost touch with it. :\ But seriously, maybe it's time for me to really invest in a set of well, reasonably good lighting. XD The bulb that I got for this lamp is very dim, hence the Photoshop. Any suggestions please?

...super old song, but please listen to it. XD I was at Daiso doing last minute shopping just the other day when they played this song and I just suddenly felt really nostalgic. XD So I decided I really had to hunt for er, an mp3 of it, wahah. *is a pirate* Of course, the task was later entrusted to hucks, who is a much bigger pirate than I. XD Thanks! ♥
