The new Volks glasses I ordered came today :D Suzu looks very..nerdy in them. XD
Suzu, sans glasses. Her teeth show up more clearly here, too.
And here's Shin in the same emo glasses. XD
I think Midori and glasses just don't go... she looks too strange, and her head is too small anyway XD

I also cooked dinner... mostly because we wanted to avoid paying $100 for dinner, hoho. Valentine's Day is perhaps the most commercialised day, ever... (along with Christmas?) Anyway, I was deciding between Chinese, western and Japanese food... when I decided on Japanese food simply because I was curious as to how to cook it? XD;; So I went to library to pay my long overdue fines just so I could borrow three recipes.
I think the food turned out pretty okay, if I may say so. XD I made four dishes -- namely, nikujaga, hourenso no ohitashi (which er, is supposed to be cold spinach but spinach was out of stock so I got something else instead .__.), lemon butter salmon and cube steak. And of course, miso soup. The cube steak was a major flop because I have never cooked beef before (XD) and have no idea how long it takes to cook decently... so even though the marination was quite yummy, the beef itself was quite raw and impossible to chew XD
I'd really wanted to make my own dashi too... but I later realised it was too cost ineffective to do so, since the readymade ones only cost a fraction of the cost of all the ingredients. :\
Cooking is so fun! ...As long as I don't need to wash the dishes. >:)
