RIP
Wow...has it really been 11 years since I had the opportunity to work with David Carradine when he guest starred on CHARMED? Rumor has it he hanged himself in a Bangkok hotel room...sad if true. A female friend of mine had said before then that he had engaged in borderline harassing behavior on another set some time before I worked with him, but he was cool on CHARMED (if occupying the landscape somewhere between charmingly eccentric and possibly addled). Didn't get much chance to talk to him, but we did discover we had something in common: We both considered Galway, Ireland, to be just possibly the best city in the world. In any event, I was a big fan of KUNG FU as a teenager and was tickled by his performance in KILL BILL, VOL. 2. May he find peace in the halls of the Ancestors.
