Herm. What to say about this movie.
Francis Ford Coppola. Yay. Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder. Not so much.
I'm sorry... I just don't see what everyone else sees in it. It's beautiful. Okay. I agree with that. But the visuals were so... fake. It's one of those movies that is so overdone that it just doesn't feel real. Like the first two Harry Potters.
I love Gary Oldman. I love Anthony Hopkins. I like Cary Elwes. But... Keanu Reeves? Winona Ryder? What possessed the casting director to cast those two in their roles? I don't think I've heard a worse English accent in my life. Or a stiffer performance.
And the whole thing with Elisabeta kind of destroyed it for me.
Ah, well. At least it was fairly faithful to the book, other than that.
So anyway, no more ASSP!
It's kind of sad, because I'll probably never get to see most of those people again. Thank goodness for AIM. If there are pictures, I'll post some of them.
The last presentations turned out to be a lot better than I'd expected them to be. Unfornately, I don't think I'll be able to post the movie online. Suffice to say that it was disappointing and satisfying all in one. There were some things that I didn't think would turn out well that did, and other really nifty things that we didn't get to do. Which includes good credits. [sighs] I will never forget the credits when I watch it.
The other one, the torture workshop, also turned out quite well. Thank goodness for Mr. Persons, though... He kept on firing questions that I could answer, which would in turn spark debate. Unfortunately, we didn't have any opinionated nutcases there to bring up a really tense debate.
Anyway, I'll really miss those guys, but not waking up at six every morning will be most excellent.
Mark - the narrator. You stay detached from the
things that matter. You make films, but you
don't really life. But all that can change, if
you just let it.

Quizilla Which HP Kid Are You? [edit] !! I totally missed something! I forgot about the Liquid Edition fiasco! Anyway, the last editing day we had, we walked in, confident that our movie was going to rock, 'cause pretty much everything was done.
However, once I saw down, I realized that the program we were using - Liquid Edition - had replaced the right clips with random other footage. So. That took about an hour and a half to do. And then the music took about twenty. So with ten minutes to go, we had to try and do our best and stick the credits and titles in. Which is why they were horrid.
Either way, that was an eventful thing that I don't want to forget because Neal had to yell at me to pay attention to the big picture. He kept on insisting that "it doesn't matter!", which made sense, but I still disagree with him about that...
