I can definitely see promise in this.

A few things, however:
-The nurse forcing Rorschach to take his medicine? I'm not sure, but I don't think she would be able to do that, since I have a feeling he'd pull a huge fit and try to hurt her back. I would modify that maybe to having some larger, burlier ward "guards" or what have you either do that or hold him down while she does it. Though I'm not sure about places force feeding pills to patients. Maybe have them give him a shot so he's more docile?
-I just saw the trailer today for Shutter Island, and I have to say, aside from the fact that Marni would more than likely NOT be in a room with two violent men, she would be even less likely to be in one with George Noyce. I don't know what he's done since I haven't read the book and won't until the movie comes out so I'm not expecting the twist ending, but he looks more insane than Rorschach could ever hope to be.
-I think that criminals, even ones like Rorschach, would have to be sentenced to a place like a psychiatric hospital in a court. And I believe {I haven't read it in awhile} he was just waiting to be sentenced in the GN, so he wouldn't be in the hospital anyway. But that could probably be overlooked.
-I honestly do not think the nurse would be so forthcoming in explaining things to Marni or things about Marni to the men. Having a girl like Marni and people like George and Rorschach in the same place is a bit weird. Usually, I think, they have maximum security places/places for the criminally insane {which Marni obviously isn't} and places like children's homes, where she probably would be.
-I don't think Rorschach, because of the nature of his crimes, would be allowed out, even on a 'Day Pass'. They would probably allow Dan and Laurie to take him to a large room where their conversations are monitored, but I doubt they'd allow him out of the hospital.
-I was confused at the mention of Bubastis. Where/when did she come in? And why?
-There are things that are capitalized that don't need to be. Ex: The Brunette, A Nurse, etc.

I'm interested to see where this goes.
