Aphrodite’s gift
Oh Aphrodite my cruel mistress
What have thou sent to me
This beauty that hath her hold upon me
My mind does bend and ponder
That even when passing thoughts linger
I must smile in joy and wonder
This crimson haired enchantress
Hath chained my thoughts to her
And bent my dreams to linger
This vision that invades my slumber
Oh her voice has become my gold
This sweetest music I crave to hear
As this siren slowly enchants me
I do not stumble blindly
But run to her willingly
next a heart break or two..
YOU HAVE CARVED A WINTER
You have carved a winter on my soul
Extinguished is my summer flame
My spring joy is lost
My autumn solitude, shattered at your simple word
Where once was spring showers
Now only a blizzard
Once before me a forest stood green
Now lonely bear skeletons of wood stand in mockery
My lady of winter
You've scattered my autumn colors
For bleak white snow
You have carved a winter on my soul

Sonnet to lost love
In to the black velvet sky I scream and pray,
For in me my soul lays wounded and torn away,
The cathedral bells slowly call the mass,
But I shall not through those doors pass,
For as the wedding vows are taken,
I stand broken, lost, and forsaken,
The priest shall speak of things of the heart,
Unknowing that she has torn mine apart,
By all rites I should by her stand,
Proclaiming our eternal love across the land,
Oh alas when Venus lets her attention stray,
How her cruel miss begotten child plays,
and time to end on a happy note.

Summer Dreams
Through the forest in the night
I hear the fairies calling
Their voices were intoxicating
By the streams by the wood
And at your window singing
Fairies will come to play
Childish joys you haven't felt
Come flooding through your mind
Who can resist their call?
Not I, not I
Through the water through the grass
I follow this music
There in a ring I can see
Every winged being
Sweet song filled the air
Sweet memories filled my mind
Of when one night as a child
A fairy lit upon me
She kissed my cheek
And said to me
You will always feel our passing
So if I seem far away
And my eyes stair in to nothing
It must be cause I can hear
All the fairies singing
