I flew to NJ at the end of June to spend some time with my mom, who's doing reasonably well. One of the things we did while I was there was pick up a couple of magic decoder boxes for her old analog TVs (doesn't have or want cable) and set them up. I've spent the past week in Dallas, TX, at LISA, the sysadmin conference I attend yearly.
