I *always* wanna discuss my shows if the episodes have been great - Mr Redteekal is quite obliging in that respect...but there's no squeeing at all on his part apart from smirking amusement at SPN's antics and appreciating that this will have an affect on me. I have steam rollered my sister into marathoning S3 and S4 Spn for a couple of days whilst we wait for the hiatus to end. I post a fair bit in my LJ about episodes I really want to discuss (just SV and SPN) but meh they don't seem to get much traffic. So no it is not foolish these shows make you happy...I'm fairly sure I baffle several people IRL when I forget to rein in my enthusiastic recounts. No one I tend to see everyday seems to understand how epically awesome and groundbreaking it was that Dean in an actual episode spoke the words "Slash fans". Pffft!! Their loss.

I don't get much traffic either, but then I don't really post much in the way of discussion. I just want people to squee with me and really appreciate it when they do. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's so enthusiastic about my shows.

Don't feel guilty about shows! Not if they make you happy :) Maybe people aren't going to understand, and it doesn't feel justified, but do what makes you happy. I've recently gotten back into shows lately, after years of denial and avoidance. I'm much happier now, and the people around me are happier because they can see that I'm happier. So that's my advice :)

Thank you. It feels good to have someone who understands.

Don't feel guilty that your shows make you happy. I don't watch very many, but the ones I do (most via download) make me very happy. I'm just thankful that my nephew likes the shows I do and we will constantly be talking about them. We'll start discussing eps of Torchwood or Doctor Who randomly and for no reason.

And my nephew and brother call each other during the commercials during ever ep of Heroes... which I constantly tease them about. hehe

I know what you mean. I always feel a bit alone with my obsession about tv-shows. I'm watching them alone most of the time and always feel the need to talk to someone who really understands what i feel at this moment while watching.
so you're not alone :) Don't feel foolish, my shows make me happy, too :)

The episode description of 4.20 should totally make you SQUEE like woah.

It's not at all foolish that your shows make me happy!! It's called being passionate about something, a vital ingredient to a happy life!!

I'm gonna cry if TSCC isn't picked up for S3!

4.20 sounds like it's going to rock our world. I can't wait.

Thank you! I do feel passionate about my shows. It's actually been a long time since I've felt this passionate as I've felt this season of Supernatural. I like it. It makes me feel connected to people.

I'm gonna cry if TSCC isn't picked up for S3!

Me too. I really hope it comes back. I want more!
