Off to a not so good start
I hope these past few days don't signify what the year will be like. My cousin died a few days ago. They took him off life support. The funeral is Saturday. Our car won't start and now we're waiting for someone to come tow it to the mechanic. Hopefully it won't be something too expensive, but it doesn't look good. We knew there was something wrong with it, but hadn't really had the chance to take it in to find out if there was anything major that needed fixing. I guess we'll know by tomorrow. I'm going to hope for the best.
I was going to pick up the Harry doll today, but that will have to be put off until the car is fixed. The least of my worries of course, but still annoying.
We didn't do much over the last few days. I never find that I get much out of shopping during boxing week sales except thoroughly annoying. I did manage to snag another thumb drive. This time a 4 gig drive for only 30 bucks. I finally picked up Forever Knight S2 on DVD. My sister was my not so secret Santa and she gave me money towards the purchase. She would have got it for me, but it was over the 40 dollar budget we set aside each year. I find it amusing that it's considered an import when the show was filmed right here in my own home city. At least the price had gone down.
Overall, I feel okay about life at this time, although I could have done without the cold sore on my lip. Yuck!
