(no subject)
Ya... so my last weekend here in the US before i go to Iraq... You'd think it'd be a fun time getting ready to go and just having a good time, filled with "we'll miss ya and be safe" and "we care about you". Lol nope none of that happened. What did happen was there was a horrible ice storm that hit and would of hampered any plans that i didnt have. I kinda take it as a omen on how my deployment will be. I leave Wednesday, my plane is still on schedule, work made sure to remind me earlier... Anyways havent done much lately just sat around and played roller coaster tycoon, which is pretty fun. I dont know im kinda looking forward to going to iraq... For my own personal reasons that i wont get into. I did tell one person once why it was i would want to go, but meh... Money is a sufficient enough answer, or to save someones life... Well as of today, i havent gotten any phone calls wishing me luck from anyone. I did get a few while home, but the feeling of care goes away so quickly when you dont hear from anyone. Its always good to let people you care about know you care for em. Lol, im sure everything will be ok but how many other people told themselves that? Lol who knows. Anyways i might have access to this while over there, ill give some alive updates here. Cant say much other then that there...
