As a small token of our affection, Peter and I didn't eat all the CSA strawberries. Also, at some point in the not-too-distant future there should be drinking and sugary treats.

So I'm thinking of joining some of the LJ art/writer communities to motivate myself to write more, and do more arts and crafts in general (I keep toying with the ideas of comics and collage, for instance, but never get around to doing anything about them). So this morning Peter and I got up at 7:30 to be part of the Eugene Celebration parade. We rode a recumbent tandem (sorry, flamingweasel) from Paul's Bicycle Way of Life and it was alternately terrifying and way cool. So this morning I woke up with the cat (and the sun) and to my surprise I've been awake and relatively energetic ever since. I so did not know what to have for lunch today, but popcorn turned out to be just right. Yay! I like making popcorn in a pan; it feels much more real than the microwave bags, even if those are a wonder of the modern age. Of course, we don't have a microwave, so that probably affects my opinion on the matter somewhat.
