wanna meet people? do a cartwheel
Woo for interesting stuff happening. Last Friday I went to the fair w/ the group I've kind of been adopted into. It was much fun. After the fair we made our way to Cafe Cyclo where they messed up my order (but I forgive them). Saturday a few of us went to a couple's house that Susan knows from church for a cook out. All I have to say is that Russ does not say very smart things when he does not get any sleep. The lady had had a baby about 3 months ago and she was holding it as Russ proceeds to ask if they'd determined the sex of the baby yet. They gave him a look like, what are you talking about and then realized that he thought she was pregnant. We left shortly after that and laughed at him the entire way home. Me and Susan got out a big blanket and layed in the grass for a little while once we got back...why didn't we think of doing that sooner? We also went to a volleyball game (woo for having school spirit) then we went to watch spider man 2 in the auditorium. From there we proceeded to the oasis for some coffee. Scotty tossed a penny at Potter and it ended up falling down the back of her shirt and into her pants. It was so funny, but poor Potter...I don't think she'll ever live down saying that she had a penny in her butt.
Oh! and I met people yesterday. All you have to do is go outside and do a cartwheel and you'll meet people. I didn't think anyone was watching so I did a cartwheel in the courtyard...but someone saw me. There was a girl by the smoking table and she started talking to me. We were gonna play cards, but then one of the other girls out there wanted to go get hot chocolate, so we went to the cafeteria instead. I'd already used my meals for the day, so I had to sneak into the cafeteria, which is not an easy task b/c of the caf ladies, so I casually strolled past and waited for Aryn and Lindsay to slide their cards. Yay for me being sneaky and yay for meeting people!
