Love is giving it your all, then finding even more to give. Love is not only accepting imperfections but cherishing them. Love is a sharp slap and a dull ache. Love is falling over and having someone pick you up. Love can be found at the bottom of a glass or in the glow of a cigarette. Love knows no boundaries and so it sometimes oversteps them.

Love is never having to ask for forgiveness but always doing so, love is suffocation, love is frightening and fierce, love makes you unreasonable and irrational, love can make you strong and weak in equal measure at different times, love is leaving the light on. Love is lazy Sunday morning love making and vicious Friday night fights, love is Saturday morning cartoons, love is a dark navy blazer. Love is chestnut curls and chocolate eyes, love is jutting shoulder blades and soft round thighs, love is a scattering of freckles on his collar bone, love is in the corner of his mouth, and the shake in his hands. Love is about six foot four and always walks with a swagger it doesn’t quite believe in. Love lies with me each night and falls asleep trying to copy my breaths.
