Nate hated the bus. Despised. Even more so because it was raining. He couldn’t see a damned thing out the window and it was frustrating him. Staring out the window made it at little bit bearable. But now he couldn’t see anything but rain and dreary fog.
His companion stirred. Chuck shifted in his sleep and his head lolled, thudding onto Nate’s shoulder.
It had taken three hours to find him, but he had finally. Nate winced and wrinkled his nose. The other male smelled of alcohol and smoke from the club.
Shaking his head, Nate looked back to the rain.
