Shamelessly ripped off from Elle’s fighting meme, it’s the RPG / MMO meme! It's where we imagine what the game would be like and what our characters would be doing if the setting involved lots of experience points and fetch quests. Think C&C as a Bioware game or possibly World of Warcraft. Or even Pokemon with superheroes.

Role: Mid-level boss for heroic characters, early quest giver for villainous characters.
Moral alignment: Chaotic evil.
Character Class: 'Mastermind.' All the Major's abilities revolve around the use of his brain in planning and support outside of combat. Once combat begins, he's basically useless.
Level: Level 30.
Abilities: When fought as a boss, the Major mainly sits in his chair and activates traps and turrets while watching his enemies fight his vampire or human minions and generally having a grand time. Once they get past his defenses, players are rewarded with a very cathartic mini-game that revolves around punching him.
Mini-bio: The Major has done very well for himself in the post-disaster City. His faction is dedicated to fomenting conflict and preventing any recovery, which is why heroic characters must go after him relatively early in the plot. His dungeon is an enormous zeppelin which is perpetually cruising around the City, getting in random fights with other factions. Quests given out to villainous PCs revolve around acquiring things or people for his schemes, or just getting into pointless combat for the Major's amusement. They're simple and good for acquiring XP early on.
Sample of interaction with PC: At the start of the boss fight: "You've done very well to make it this far. Really, I applaud your efforts! But this war has become too personally enjoyable to me. I cannot allow you to ruin things now."
