but he's trying to swing the balance soundwave reminded him of (i.e. 'you will always be a soldier but you don't always have to be one') and i'm not sure how willing he is to go back to fighting right now all things considered (as in 'gdit i am finally FINALLY leaving everything connecting me to then behind')

I know my series, heh. /steeplefingers
I will... probably find a reason for him to go, then, even if it's just because he's getting reckless and antsy--besides which, he does canonly mention that he absolutely hates to fight, but also that he'll do it if it means protecting someone. Fortunately, the mecha he has here in the City is a replica of the blue-green one, but it's also like Iron Man's suit in that it's been human-sized and folds up into panels/eventually absorbs into him for the purposes of shapeshifting, since it counts as clothing. :3
No shanking, though. He's done shanking. Pretend or previously-agreed-upon-nonlethal shanks, maybe. Not deadly ones.
i would be all up on this because he never ever gets to be MS Pilot Badass here in the City
and this is completely and totally up his alley and what i was hoping to get to do during the HIVE incident this summer

Stealth
Camo facepaint... in a sense XD
Car chases
Gratuitous explosions
Shirtlessness for no reason
At least one bareknuckle fight
Insane stunts (video~)
Dual-wielding
Extended locking and loading
Bickering
Treachery
Femme fatales
Massive body count
(Boy's been killing people in wars since he was old enough to talk.)
One-liners
“I'll understand if you want to kill me, but I must warn you: I might retaliate.”
Absurd amounts of firepower
A total lack of subtlety
Unfortunately, Bullet Time is the property of the Slow Mo Arm/Leg Shot from Duo to Heero in episode 2. The Movie Reference, Jungle Stalking, and Improper Use of a Flamethrower belong to Wufei, buuuut I think it's close enough. :3 ( ... )

Trowa definitely fits and maybe he could bring the mecha if they decide to screw plausible deniability.
But if shanks anybody to go undercover again Jack will stab him to death with his own bangs.
