Absolutely spectacular! I love everything! It is a really cohesive, beautifully done set, and it has reminded me of how much I loved Amy Pond.
The first icon is beyond stunning! I love the use of silhouette and duplication there to give that overused cap of Amy and the Doctor this whole new world as a background (so you definitely succeeded on that front). It is really interesting thematically, and it looks amazing visually as well. So I'd call it a supernova slam dunk (mixed metaphors for the win). I also adore the third one (and both of its alternates). The city backdrop is great, and I love the layered paint splatter as well; it gives it that extra pizazz. The tiny text is also fantastic, and the white splotch behind the Doctor and Amy really brings the attention to them in amongst that busy canvas. Really well done! The fifth icon is also spectacular. When you nail your light use, you really, REALLY nail your light use. I love the disappearing into light effect, and the rotation gives it that extra layer of unusual. I also love the color pink on her lips, really lovely!!
I adore the idea behind #6, and honestly, I'm not sure how you chose between the one that made the cut and the two alternates because they are all equally awesome. it was a great idea in terms of composition, and I think any of the three easily nail it. #9 and #10 are also gorgeous. The texture use in both is incredibly well done, and there's a delicate-ness about both that is really appealing (especially in #9 where the texture use is quite chaotic).
The whole next row is fabulous (the color contrast in the first one, the space hair in the second, and the blending in the fourth are particularly magnificent features), but the fifth icon has stolen my heart and run away with it! it is so cool to read about the coloring process of this icon. All that work definitely paid off though because the coloring is to die for, honestly. All the different poncho colors are beautiful, and I am especially in love with the skin tones considering what you had to do to get them to equalize. And the text is brilliantly done as well!
I also love flower face Amy! What a cool concept, and it is executed so perfectly as well. And then Little Amy seeing Adult Amy in the looking glass? PERFECTION. Another flawless concept executed just as flawlessly.
I am also in love with the first reject; great blending, and the muted coloring and lack of contrast are really cool! Great job overall! :D
My goodness, thank you so much for this wonderful comment! I am just speechless from your incredibly kind words! I honestly appreciate so, so much that you took the time <3 THANK YOU!
