Been watching too much TV lately. How can I miss Heroes, yet make a Dexter-viewing and then catch Ugly Betty? It's television karma.
The students are entertained to know that 'diction exercises' translate into "tongue twisters" which is what they get to practice and recite. They're lucky I don't have them memorizing or monologuing yet. It will happen soon, as we need at least a class production between now and December 21st.
And then I manage to take Grandma Fran out to lunch at Trigo (yes, gasp) and browsing through the lovely antique store next door. And you know she'd be given those jointed-jewelry crab napkin rings for Christmas if they weren't $130. I won't even mention the crystal candelabra we eyed.
Oktoberfest is downtown! Friday is 5 to 10 and Saturday is 10 to 10. I am thoroughly up for some schnitzel and beers. Shall we round up the others, others?
PS: No, seriously, I needs some LARP weaponry and pronto. Can anyone help?
