Not nearly as impressive as frozenemerald's 19, finished, especially since w/ the exception of the Nixs, Wein, and Christie, they're all in various in-progress stages. But I suppose you could say this is what I've been Doing With Myself this summer. Oh: Nixs, Christie, and Dunnett are the re-reads, rest are 'new' (MD kind of qualifies both/either way). Bother!: forgot to add Whose Body? (also a re-read/finished; waving a Wimsey! pennant) to the stack.

I was disciplined and did not buy one single book about The Crusades this last go-round, because SATURDAY 0730h (assuming, let's be honest, I can pry myself out of bed that early). Discipline: $6.17. TLHoD is one of my top ten all-time favorites, I have been after TSiS for ages, and Weir is always a guaranteed good read. It's even, heh, ideologically balanced, with the pro- and anti-RIII texts.

Yeah, I'm pro-Ricardian.

So, there you go.
