We spent the afternoon in Sitges yesterday, during one of the hottest days this summer. I'm saving pictures because I didn't even have the strength of taking out the E71 to take pics.

It happens that I had barely visited one of the most touristic places in Catalonia. Costa Brava. In fact, I had only taken a bath there once, like 10 years ago. I usually go to nearby beaches or further south, and this is north from where I live - and quite far, about 130 km.

I wasn't going anywhere for vacations but I've caught quite an offer. So my favorite grumpy bear and yours truly are going on a cruise departing Barcelona next Monday. So far, vacations are good. I'm using my bf's laptop with french azert keyboard which i hate!!!!

San Sebastian was good. The Expo in Zaragoza was somewhat disappointing and we're in madrid now... More to como with a decent keyboard!!

Geez, two days to start my vacations and things are spinning around.

All set. I have vacations from June 28th to July 13st. Morever, I took extra days off: June 20th (Bea and Paco's wedding) and June 23rd (my birthday) . According to my company rules, they're 3 days more of the total time until August 31st, but then I have 10 extra days until Dec 31st, so I will still have 7 days left ( Read more... )

So basically this weekend is being a blast.

In timely order, I have:

-Taken an Icelandic friend of mine to see an exhibition in the CCCB about the Spanish Transition.
-Got drunk on a Thursday (I'm still on vacations!) with only 4 beers (ok, it was a double-malt, called Voll Damm)
