Carnival means you get a costume and you goof around playing your character. Or you simply get drunk (or tipsy like me, because I'm a bad drinker). One of the newest and more established traditions in Spain is drinking on the street. A 2-liter bottle of soda, a 0.75l bottle of your favourite spirit, some plastic cups and a few ice cubes is all you need. All under 20 euros. The most "Canariona" drink is something that is so sweet it can make you get instant diabetes: Clipper de fresa (a strawberry-flavored soda) with Ron Miel (Honey rhum)
Anyway, if you have been to Spain you know that our main industry is party time, so here are some pics of us:
