I haven't disappeared. I've just busy as a bee at work and starting the college semester!
The nice part of my life lately has been that Sergio and I got to spend a long weekend celebrating carnival in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I've said this a gazillion times, but Gran Canaria has a crappy touristic side and a wonderful and undiscovered capital full of life and great people. We made friends there and we visited them. They're wonderful and very sexy! Kisses to Adae and Mariano for their wonderful hospitality.
The most interesting thing we did was watching live the election of the Drag Queen of the carnival (in addition of the "queen", "infant queen" and "great lady") which was an impressive gala broadcast by Televisión de Canarias. You can check the gala
here But this is about Las Palmas, which center we visited and enjoyed.
First of all, a gratitious shot of the Playa de las Canteras, from West to East.
Or the same place, from West to East
Then we got some pouring rain on Saturday (it ruined the 106-float carnival parade)
There are quite a few things there we don't get in Continental Spain (or as they call us "The Peninsula"), such as Dorada beer and Appletiser
Definately, I missed it when I got back home
