Well, one of the things I did during my vacations was getting my car inspected.
I failed the test miserably. I had three "important" issues, all related to lightning:
- The left front turn signal was loose - Basically because it's just inserted somehow into the headlight. No picture but I finally put a lot of epoxy glue just to pass the inspection.
- The rear turn signals were not "yellow" enough. The turn signals bulbs are just painted with orange paint. Well, after 10 years, the orange layer had just vanished, so they weren't orange anymore. A set of two orange bulbs cost me 3 euros (Bosch)
- Then the whole plastic that covers the right rear lights of my car was cracked. I had to replace it for 50 damned euros (Hella) since I couldn't find the used part. Well, it's a flimsy plasticky thing which can get cracked just by coughing in front of it.
Ok, let us all say it loud "planned obsolescence"
