Stuck inside
Today is my last day in town before going to Phx. I had planned to go downtown and pick up a $50 Walmart gift card that was being given to me since Nathan has very little in the way of clothes that he's not a centimeter from outgrown. Then I was going to take Ken over to the court to do some paperwork in his appeal. He's trying to get it in front of the same magistrate as the case was before. After that, I planned to go over to Appleone staffing if I had time and schedule an appointment for when I come back. I'm sure I can do that over the phone though.
Last night, after talking to Ken about work on the car, we had decided that we'd get the oil changed today if nothing else. I also needed to make a new key since I lost the copy I've been carrying around.
So when I overheard Kelly tell Michelle that she needed the car around 11, I was rearranging my day to see how I could accomodate the most important of these errands. I had it figured out when the car disappeared at 8. So there goes my day completely. Nathan will be home 11:30 and then errands can't be run.
And I understand this isn't my car to run around, but this is my last day in town and even if I could get ahold of another car, I can't change the oil in this one if I'm using another one. I had errands too, but nobody said anything to me, it was just figured, even after I verified the time that I needed to return the car to Kelly, that if I had plans it wasn't important.
