My father grew up in New Orleans and much of his family lives there. I called him today to see how he's doing and he is trying to find a current picture of his old neighborhood to see how bad the damage is. Does anybody know how often Google Earth is updated? Since he's telling me that it's walking distance from the school that my cousin was going

The Google Earth pictures are all a few years old. Somebody on my friends list posted a current picture sometime within the last 24 hours, though.

ty. I can't even begin to imagine the toll this is taking on residents in New Orleans. I hope that everybody has a place to go in all of this.
