Things I miss from home:

-driving a car
-real coffee
-Ralph's Ices *drools*
-Andrew smoking cigarettes outside his car
-blunts
-crappy beer
-people who only speak English
-my friends
-a comfortable bed
-my parents
-a big room
-driving to the beach
-NYC
-new paltz
-bookstores with a huge selection of books
-eggs the way i like them!
-music that isn't electronic

Ah, mam ràd Praha.
I love Prague, but I also miss home a lot too. I've travelled to Vienna, Berlin, Pilsen, The Czech countryside, I'm going to Amsterdam and Budapest, maybe Cesky Krumlov and Krakow. I've met so many different people, tried so many things, seen so many new things, but America is pulling at my heartstrings right now. I need to return to normal life again, but I also know that once I get back home, I'll want to be back in Praha, such is the paradox of travelling. I have no idea how people can do this for months, even years at a time. Sure it's wonderful to be separated from home to see new things, but after a while you feel the need to return. I need to go home to familiarity and comfort once again. It's annoying having to call my parents on a computer to talk to them at obscure hours. Some of my friends I haven't spoken to in months, some only a handful of times since I've been here. Oh well, I only have a month left and I know that it will only be a matter of time before I'm drinking at the bar on the Virgin Atlantic Flight home and eating La Piazza when I get back for the first time in forever.
